How much does the TA.. weigh? when removed and empty.. aproximately. thanks

I had mine shipped and the receipt said 150 lbs. so thats without the tranny fluid. Non LSD. Manual 5 speed

Billybones,

I just did this job! 58 kg sounds about right (a bit over 120 lbs) I have attached a couple of pics (hopefully). The first is the transaxle right after removal (on jack) the second is everything in pieces ready to go back together after I replaced the ring and pinion. Not as bad a job as I thought it would be. The clutch, on the other hand was a bitch! <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

Hey after the help with the DME, let me know if you need help from me.

when removing, I watched Larry Parker lower it onto his knee and just roll it over. (didn't look comfortable though)
