Hey All,
My dad is a big miata junkie, and I was going through a catalog and came across this:
Could this possibly be made to fit a 944?
sold through: www.miata.org (Brainstorm products)
Seems like a cool alternative and could maybe get some decent lighting with a different look than stock.
Just an idea! Id try it if I had the money..

Those would have to be some pretty small diameter lights to fit in your 944 - like 4" or less.
So this means all sorts of possible problems if you want great lighting and you have a real good chance of winding up with very bad lighting.
For looks you might want to rethink that. How many people are going to notice? You going to drive around all day with the lights up? At night people won't notice much unless you make both beams low beams. So no high beam. For looks you really need to change to a system that gets rid of the headlight buckets.
If you want very good lighting for reasonable cost go with some Cibie E-Code 7" drop in rounds with regular 55/60 H-4 bulbs. You can also put in overwatt bulbs like 80/100 which will be amazing and with proper aiming the "low" 80 watt beam won't bother oncoming traffic. You are going to have to rewire your headlights though. That would even be a good idea with regular wattage lights.
