Default trouble shooting horn

bought a fixer and realized the horn doesnt work.

any thoughts on walking through the steps on trouble shooting this issue?

In my experience on 944's the contacts under the pad are the most likely suspect.

/\ /\ that's the best answer, but you could also put a volt meter on the horn wires and see if you get power when you push the horn button. power=bad horn. no power=bad contacts or fuse or ground. Mine didn't work when we got the car and it was the horns themselves. I got air horns from Griots that are about 1,000 decibels so morons in big soundproof cars can hear.

Pull the horn pad off and check the connections underneath. If you don't have an airbag it's easy to do.

cool - will start with that. might have to look into electronics. i've never played around with checking wires like that, but i know its something i should learn

i love the idea of going airhorn. what would be a first
