Post oil pan baffle and accusump

I will be doing my first drivers ed soon with my daily driver 1986 951. Basically stock except for chips, boost enhancer and test pipe. I am thinking about adding some insurance to the bearings. Car only has 30k miles on it. How can you tell if an oil pan is the newer one with the updated baffle, either externally or internally. Also where can I get an accusump cheap.

John, Hi, I also have an '86 951 that I bought just for DE. I heard that oil pans with numbers ending in 08 (and I think higher) are baffeled better that ours. This change happened in 1987 if this info is true.I have not modified mine yet and have attended 6 days of DE, 4 days at Road America. Guys have told me to over fill your oil by 1qt. I have heard between 1/2 to 1 1/2 qts. I do about 3/4. Have fun. Jim
