Post Headlights sit too low when closed

When my headlights are closed they go past the contour of the nose panel. How do I get them to sit a little higher? Do I adjust the closing mechanism? Are there rubber cushion that need to replaced? It doesn't affect the functionality of the lights but it makes the car show its age.

I believe that you can adjust them at the drive motor. Check out 944 Garage for details.
