Default Throttle cable replacement ?

My throttle cable is knackered and has stuck a couple of times, so I have a new one on the way only problem is I haven't fitted one before and can't find any info on clarks garage or any where. I am hoping that's because it is so easy lol Obviously it is a RHD car (952), not that I imagine that it matters, as the cable is just longer and hook up should be the same

If some one knows of a write up or can post up some tips on how too, that would be awesome.
TIA
peace

Cheers Pauly, exactly what I needed (but couldn't find).
Now I just have to wait a week for the cable to get here from Germany lol

That's a good write-up by 951Porschiste. I had a bitch of a time getting the cable off of the pedal, but maybe it was the angle, as I didn't remove my seat.

FR that's the bit I am still unsure of, but at least I have a vague idea whats required.

good tip Pauly. When I use the search function here I always find a million posts that mention same words but usually have nothing to do with my specific search. Google is your friend lol

I did this job last year. It was easy. Nothing to worry about Cyberpunky.
