I am not sure what's around Charlotte, but if there is any educational institution (especially engineering) or technology, you may be able to bribe the anodizer to just add your pieces when they run another batch.
I have a friend who used to work for a job shop that did prototyping for Pratt and Whitney. Whenever he needed something anodized or plated, he would bring the part and a case of beer and ask the guy to add his part to someone elses batch. Since the parts typically were small they had no problem piggy-backing onto another job. I have heard the same thing about students using the same technique while they where in school at GA Tech.
