Default DFW 944 owners?

Hey guys I am pretty active with the DFW 928 Owners club that meets monthly for breakfast on the first Saturday. Do the 944 owners meet for breakfast anywhere?

Since when?

There are a half-dozen or so of us RL 944 guys who have tried to get something going but it hasn't been super successful. Let's talk it up a bit and try to get something on the calendar for maybe a monthly breakfast or similar...

Default 928 get together

You guys are certainly welcome to come to the 928 breakfast that meets the first Saturday of the month at 8am. We don't require anyone to have a car, much less a 928. We usually have a few 911's a 944 or 924, a Ferrari etc. We are car guys who love to talk Cars. We just happen to love 928's the most. I know a few of the guys have 924-968 Porsches. We were meeting at Dixie House in Euless on 183 but they closed for Renovations so we met at a LePeep in Bedford last month. This week it will be posted on the 928 board where will meet. I for one would love to see some 944's come. I have learned so much from the 928 guys and I am just beginning to learn about the 951 I just bought last week from Chris is Coppell also know as Sentinelist or something close to that. I was planning on clay barring, polishing and waxing it this weekend but it has been a shade too cold.

I've also been to the 928 first Saturday meet several times because we haven't much of a 944 "club" in Dallas. I can vouch that the 928 owners club had been great about including me even though I don't drive a 928. We should all plan to attend on the 5th.. It would be nice to see more of your cars there rather than me being either the only 944 or one of two.

I would like to try meeting the 928 group for breakfast as well, but I've already got breakfast plans for this Saturday. Let me know how it goes and let's keep the DFW 951 talk up... maybe we'll eventually have enough interested folks to have our own gatherings too.

Oh, and I got my fresh short block back from the machine shop last week. Maybe I'll be back on the road in time for the spring thaw

I am hoping to give it good home. I bought it to be a daily driver for my step-son. His mom is not so sure, so we are working on her while we work on the car. That is why you will find it on Craigslist. I don't want to sell it. I want to fix it. It is leaking oil and need to diagnose where it is exactly leaking from. I had paintless dent repair done on the whole car yesterday and Monday I am having the dash repaired by Fibrenew DFW. I plan to remove the Stone Guards later this month and I am thinking about painting the rub strips. I would love to get your input Saturday.

If a bunch of 944 guys come Saturday I may bring it and see if you help me spot the leak.

I think i speak for the Friday night folks: Rest of us cant make it. Will be sleeping off NON from Friday, trying to get the stripper glitter off car seats and explaining the occasional dead hooker to DFW's finest.

I was going to drive the 928 but since your bringing your 944 I will bring mine. I would love to get your thoughts on some things. My stepson is driving. Now I need to go drive my 928.
