Default 968 caster blocks okay? or toast?

I got these 968 caster blocks used off ebay about a year ago for cheap. But when I was able to see them in person, I could tell that the rubber is visibly not looking in the best condition. in some places you can see light clear through to the other side. Is this normal? or are these caster blocks toast?

Here's some pictures

They are toast. The rubber is worn and the block will bind during hard cornering. My old 968 caster blocks looked just like yours, before I swapped them out for mono-blocks.

Sorry, but as above, those blocks are fried. Some new ones will save you problems in the very near future.

I have heard of repacking bushings like that with urethane sealant:

Never tried it myself.
