I don't have the sizes, but the Super Bearings come strongly recommended.

If you search around you'll see that the c4 bearing tolerances are no longer available. I highly recommend the Black Sea bearings. They are expensive, but much cheaper than doing the job twice
I have had my Black Sea bearings in for 30k miles or so.

Thanks guys, I ended up finding the number "6006ZR C4" and called up CBC bearings (australia) and they've found the exact ones i need. $12 each.'
I would go for the super bearings but they're just way out of budget at the moment.
What do you mean the C4 tolerances are no longer available?

if you found c4 for that price you have done well. I rang several bearing suppliers and one eventually found them in france for $60 ea. C3 is very common and about the price you quoted.

The c4 tolerances aren't really made any more from what i could find when i was originally searching. It sounds like you got lucky finding some...so you should be good to go!

Coming a bit late to this conversation, but Porsche always used 6006 2Z C5 bearings, not C4.
C5 clearance bearings are very difficult to find.
LS1 Porch, great to hear your TT is doing well, that's a lot of miles you put on it!
Happy Holidays,

I used C3 a number of years ago (over 5) and no issues here in FL. If you fit C3-4 make sure you get steel shielded bearings. The others apparently cannot handle the rpm/heat range. If they last me 10 yrs I'm happy, if you want a totally bullet-proof solution or are running high hp or LS get Constantine's product.

Hi Nathan,
Yes, but many torque tubes have been rebuilt with other spec bearings by now. Maybe your TT has already been changed out before?
C5s are a much looser clearance than normal. Many use C3s with no ill affect after many miles/years of use.
It's usually the original inserts and bearing unit housings that start failing which then cause problems later after a rebuild.
Cheers,
