Trade Wilk Race chip for 3-5K chip?
I have a spare full race Wilk chip, but would like to trade for a 3-5k chip to put in my daily driver. I commute 200K per day, and keep it under 3k for cruising, but it would be nice to have a bit more punch when I need it. The full race chip is noticeable, but hurts the gas mileage a little bit.(Not sure if it is mearly right foot induced though)
PM if you are interested in a trade.
BTW this is for an 86 n/a

Make sure your car has been properly maintained and satisfies the requirements of the Will race chip. There is a lot of timing put into higher RPMs in that prom.

You also want to make sure you don't run you AFR too lean with that chip , i have one and i believe the rev limit is unlocked
and i would suggest you tune the engine on a dyno with the fuel adjustments on the DME

i have a stock 86 na. I’d like to buy it if they really do help throttle response. Not a daily driver. Just some days , weekends and occasional track day and canyon runs. I want reliability overall. The car had been fully serviced the past 1000 miles.

You do realize it was still available in 2013 ?
They are hard to find nowadays but there are other options out there , do a search on the forums
and i’m sure you’ll come up with something alternate !
