Default Sunroof issue

My sunroof arms will retract all the way regaurdless of key position, I know they should only retract with the key in the acc position. Btw it's a 94 968. Figured I ask before I start testing things! Thanks!

mine does that too, prob the microswitch? just guessing but I need a fix as well!

I every time I mess with one I have to start with retraining myself. I think my problem is that its such a crappy set-up, that by the time I have it working I just want to core-dump it from my memory. ...;] Bruce

PS... 1) ya may want to have a couple gears on hand - they get stripped so easy. And 2) I start by loosening the clutch, its easier to re-tighten it once everything is "in rig" than change the damn gears again.

It is more than likely the microswitches.

I'll have to get the mm/scope I'm tired of it popping open while going down the road because the arms retracted too far lol
