Default Engine Stand Bolts? Euro N/a Front Bumper?

So im going to start the hopefully easy process of putting my Engine back together. That being said, What Bolts do you guys recomend to bolt the block to the engine stand?, I have seen the horror stories of bolts breaking off part of the block while on an engine stand and i want to get it right the first time.

Second Question, Who is the Supplier/Manufacturer of the Euro bumpers that are here in the states?, and Where can i get one?

two of the bellhousing bolts are long enough. u'll need to get 2 more from hardware store. ace/truevalue/sears has them. m12x1.5 90 or 100mm 3.5 inches long

Cuban cigars and Euro bumpers are not available in the USA. Probably could be special order new from a US main dealer but $$$'s I'd expect. Plenty used available across the pond, expect to pay around $500 shipped and the mounts, lights and turn signals are different so if they do not come with you will have to source from Euro again.

Shameless plug and bribery: No Cuban cigars but if you like me on Facebook I might be swayed into bringing you one back on my next trip to England, soon I hope

For the engine to stand bolts I like to use threaded rod. That way you get full engagement of threads into the block.

If the engine was removed from the bottom, the 4 crossmember bolts are the correct size.

Search Ebay UK .... over there, its just a bumper. They're quite common.

And, shipping isn't nearly as much as you would think....though it does take a few weeks to get stuff. I got a genuine Porsche "euro" rear bumper + shipping from the UK for less than what US companies sell the copies for.

make sure they're high tensile! should say 8.8 on the bolt head.

Do not even think about getting a euro bumper from Australia (yes we have euro spec cars) but it'll cost you 3x more..

1.5 if I remember correctly.

I've been unable to get them from a fastener company in Australia.

sorry to thread jack. Managed to order some with free shipping.

To confirm, it's a M10 x 100mm that's recommended, high tensile, 1.5 pitch. (often called coarse, but be careful you don't get a 1.75 pitch)
