I had a cracked hydraulic line on my steering rack in my S2. The rack was fine otherwise so instead of buying a new or rebuilt rack I just found an old rack off of a 3-series BMW for $25 and swapped the line onto my rack. The parts on these racks are often interchangable and the Bimmer parts are much more plentiful. Just some FYI.
