Don't care if they're silver or black. Gotta be in good shape....

If you're not fussed with how they look, for my car I made a cardboard template. One mate cut it out of sheet ali and dipped it, another painted it and another put on the 3m tread.

Does the DIY one stay planted well? Just nice and wide and has no where to go, right?

Nice job. I have been looking at the Rennline ones for a while and what you did looks pretty nice.

What gauge steel did you use?
