Default No Heat From Vents

Hey guys I'm not getting any heat in my car and I was wondering on any ideas. My heat use to work but some times would work one day and not the other, now its just straight cold air.

1) Heater Valve
2) Heater Core (I hope not lol)
3) HVAC unit in the car

Any other ideas or easy ways to check these? Are there any fuses or relays that could potentially do this? Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it.

It will almost certainly either be the little plastic clip behind the heater controls or your heater valve.

I have the same problem with the 951 I just bought (it looks just like yours on your signature pic). I am trying not to have to take it to a shop to fix it.

Me too. Mine never works. I plan to re-bleed the coolant first, then go from there.

Must be that time of year when we start turning the **** to "hot" and saying, "WTF"?

1. Put the front up on ramps and bleed the coolant as per directions
2. Check fuse 17 - if its popped, no vacuum to the heater valve
3. Have someone move the heater **** and watch for movement
4. Still no heat, now you have problems. See Clarke's

The heater clip, if broken/missing, will give you only full heat with no way to regulate it.

I had the blend door servo motor go **** up on me which resulted in no heat. You may want to try swapping out the HVAC controls too.

IIRC, if the heater valve fails, it fails open. I suppose your heater core could be plugged.
