Those aren't true projector housings, they are just made to look like them.
A harness kit will make a huge difference in how even sealed beams perform.
The cost is well worth it IMO, but hey its your money.

To the OP:
As you can see on here, a lot of people have had great experiences with the Rennbay kit. I loved mine for a few years before I did the HID retrofit. As others have said, it's wise to steer clear of the ebay kits. The "projector" housings are just a basic, cheap reflector with a fake, non-functional projector lens held in there to make it look like you put a real projector in the housing. I've seen them first-hand and their output is worse than stock usually. My recommendation for the most cost-effective, time-sensitive upgrade would be to get some Hella E-Code housings and good H4 bulbs. Both of those can be found affordably online. For even better performance, buy or make a relay harness and run some higher-wattage bulbs in there! (But only with the E-codes)
