FS: Alpine White '86 w/Cup wheels
Selling my Alpine white on black '86 N/A as the post expenses of private school are now kicking in full swing. It is an overall nice car with 144k on it - interior looks like it has 60k (except for driver's seat).
This car has a lot of positives and a lot of new parts. Short list:
Upgraded Battery Cables
Hella E-Code Headlights
New rear KYB shocks
New headgasket/Top end seal kit
Cylinder head milled by reputable machine shop
New head nuts/washers/intake manifold bolts (they look pretty)
Ignition Cap/rotor
Speed/Reference Sensors
Mercedes Benz coolant (specifically for aluminum blocks) & distilled water is in the cooling system
New oil cooler seal kit
New oil filler cap o-ring (imperative for good vacuum in crankcase)
Car has 17x7.5 Mille Miglia Cup 1 replica wheels in the correct offset for the '86 cars. Front tires are Michelin Pilot Sports with about 60% life, rears are 17x9 with Khumo Ecsta that are brand new. All 4 valve stems are brand new and the wheels/tires were all recently balanced on a Hunter machine.
Car had a bad 4th gear synchro so the trans was replaced with a good used - shifts great now in all gears.
Paint looks good but has imperfections - it's white so it hides them well. Rear of the car is drilled and has installed the Porsche light bar that ties the tail lights together. License plate was moved to rear bumper, and there are 2 scrathes on the bumper from the screws that hold the plate in - like this when I got it. Tint was not professionally done but I left it on as it protects the black interior & the car looks great at night with the tint. Front bumper has 2 areas where there was fiberglass repair at the very bottom.
Clock works, sunroof works & the glove box hinges aren't broken. Has factory Porsche embroidered floor mats.
Sunroof works!
A/C needs a charge.
Has Sony XPlode CD Player/Receiver with AUX input/bluetooth & Infinity Speakers
Clutch is in great shape - pickup is nice, no chatter - timing belt/water pump have been done recently
This car is a great driver's car - daily or weekend. Not a concours car by any means, but for the price I don't think you can beat it. Priced to sell fast at $2950.
