Default Aftermarket steering wheel/shift **** pic thread

Hi there,

I'm looking at picking up a 944 next month, I fell in love with the car but the steering wheel really didn't do it for me. I wasn't a big fan of the shift ****, either, to be honest. I know the facotry shifter is best, but I'm just curious to see what other options are out there for early 944s. If you have an early 944 with a different wheel or shift ****, I'd love to see pictures, just to get an idea of what's available. There's a few Momo wheels I absolutely love but I'd like to explore all my options first.

Do you find the steering wheel is in a better location or a worse one, now? Did you go for the same diameter or smaller?

It is a bit smaller than stock, the location was good but it improved drastically when I added an offset adapter that picked the wheel up a bit.

The wheel is 350mm, stock is 380 I think.

Thanks! I have long legs and the stock wheel kind of felt in the way. I'm intrigued by the offset adapter idea...where do you find such a thing?

Dillon, What holds the insert in on your 968 CS tray? I ordered mine yesterday, and curious to know what holds it in if anything. Thanks!
