I have never seen 6 psi on the LP side of an R134 system, so either you are very low on gas, or the expansion valve is not working. Honestly, take it to a pro...

I am going to take it to a shop and not mess with it any more. Just thought I would look one more time so I could answer george01's question.

Sounds like your struggling with a learning curve the procedures and equipment. Your thought to bring it to a shop will probably be your quickest solution.
