Default Fuel Damper Question

Hey guys I was wondering how can you tell when a fuel damper goes bad? Also what are the side effects? I'm aware what happens with a FPR just a fuel damper.

Thanks a bunch!

+1 on fuel in the vac line as an early warning signal.
