Default New Stereo Head Unit - Double Din.

I just installed my Eclipse AVN726E Headunit and thought I'd post a picture of ya'll to see. You'll see in the picture that the right side of the console was accidently gouged in the process. That will be fixed or changed asap!

Well done- looks good and I dig the HVAC dials.

I have a good black console I'd like to sell that I recently pulled- it does have 4 clean holes on the right side by the stereo though where a mobile phone mount was installed before, however. If you're interested, it's yours for $60 and a meetup! PM me if I forget to check back here.

I love the double din radio's in the 951's. Was the radio hard to fit?

It did take some work.. most of it was full removal of the inner bracket and also cutting the rubber pad to make room for the depth.

Viewing angle is great. As far as fitment there is a bracket in the way that will need to be removed and you'll also need to cut out the rubber pad or it won't sink in far enough.

Is the rubber pad over the transmission tunnel ? My double din sits just a few mm out, so would love to get it perfectly flush but can't recall any rubber pad when I installed it. Any info would be great
peace

Yes, the rubber pad was over the tunnel. At first glance you may not realize that it can infact be cut down.

Is there a special trim ring you needed or did it come with the 2DIN unit?
