Looks awesome. Do it. I agree everyone (including myself) has black rims.

I like it...a lot! That is one of the sweetest 944's I've ever seen - just sayin.
Love the stance and color scheme.

Thanks for the compliments I think I might keep it for a while, the color looks a lot better even when the car is moving, and thanks I'll keep that in mind because I may like to try a few other colors.

I'd black the wheels to match the smoked lights.

Interesting - I've been thinking about doing that rear panel thing for a while. I guess he's cast a custom piece with the porsche script indented from plastic?

Anyone else done this?

Only problem here is that I think a rear number plate light is a requirement in NZ.

If you really want to do this then get a illuminated number plate frame and mount it to the bumper. You can just see it on mine, works great:

Can't believe I don't have a better picture of the rear of my car. If you need a close-up i'll take one tomorrow when it's daylight.

Of course those wheels look good. What I can't believe is that the taillight filler panel looks alright.

You could get em copper plated just an idea. I thought about copper plating my bbs rs' a while back but the maintenance would suck. Unless you like copper patina (statue of liberty). Or you get em clear anodized after plating (is that possible?).

You can clear coat after copper.

watch your pad choice so you aren't cleaning them every week.

My favorite is to carefully color match the correct shade of grey to match brake pad dust. Then you don’t have to clean the wheels after every fun driving session!

It actually a nice color for a wheel center – and if you have metallic pads you can add a little metal flake to the paint to get that sparkle…..

I tend to prefer black wheels, but that color combo does look sharp on that car.
