Default 944 S2 Electrical Woes

Another day, another problem.

When i first got the car, It was refusing to start (dead battery)

I replaced the battery and all was well.

After the clutch job, I noticed that it now takes a bit longer to start up.

The battery gauge used to sit between 12 and 14 (almost dead center, at 13) Now it's sitting on 12.

I'm thinking dying Alternator?

Also, My tach bounces up and down a bit (about 750-1k RPM) when I shift. I've checked my grounds, but found nothing suspicious... Maybe Alternator related?

Make sure your grounds are tight. And also have good clean connections at your starter. Ground MP IX is at the bell housing and Also grounds battery cable and dme
