Now we don't have to be ashamed when someone says our car parts are made by VW. We'll just say, "Well, yeah, but that's Porsche! Same thing."

Not going to happen. There had been rumors of a 4 cylinder sub-boxster car but both Porsche and VW have publicly scrapped the idea. "Entry level sports cars" won't be designed, engineered, built or sold by Porsche. That'll be the domain of VW and Audi.
