Has anyone found a more complete, or better kit that can beat his price?

I have an 1986, with the updated pump. I assume all this should work..
I'll be pulling the motor for a Clutch change, and decided to do all belts/seals/pump/ etc. while I am in there.

That's a very good price .
I got all my parts from Zims but separate ,they don't do a full kit like that but in the end you get the same price tag so no savings there. They say that Zims pumps are the best ,maybe it's true but i wasn't very pleased with the belt kit , the balance belt was gates ,that's ok but the timing belt was a no name brand so i'm not very happy about it ,they don't mention anything on they're website . Took my chances and installed it ,everything works fine but i'm still worried that one day it might snap.
I think you should go for the 944online kit because it's complete and priced good but make sure they give you good belts.

Good Call on Zims. About 120.00 Cheaper for everything. And I added the Hardware kit. I will also add an OIL pan gasket and tensioner stud.

Hello, Be sure to put the updated Water Pump (Turbo) on the 86 NA and it takes the 46mm roller. Rebuilt your choice, but I'd put on a new one. If you get a rebuilt from ZIMS you pay a Core Charge. Send your old pump back and if they find anything wrong with it to prevent a rebuild you forfit the Core Charge. Gates or Dayco Belts are better, IMHO, than Conti, but you can not beat a Dealer Porsche Belt. Seems as if they are made better and to the Porsche specifications. If you are pulling the engine be sure to replace the Connecting Rod Bearings and nuts. I have a 86NA Engine I am slowly rebuilding as I get "Around- To- It" for a spare.
There are some great vids on You Tube by vsvenson. He covers a wide range of DIY, W/pump, Wheel Bearings, Front Engine Reseal, Brakes, etc., etc.. I have ear marked all of them for future reference. Pull the Fuel Injectors and send them to Witch Hunters for rebuild and flow matched. Man, I love to be spending your money for you. LOL
The link below will tell and show all about a Clutch Change.

The pump on the car is already updated. I have pulled the motor on my 87S a couple times. I have done the clutch, and a couple timimg belt/Water pump jobs. That S motor was more expensive to work on than this 2.5 n/a...
I would really hesitate to pull rod bearings "while you are in there" My luck I would end up being over tolerance when I check the clearance with plastigauge.....and open up a can of worms.
I have a cleaning set up for the Injectors.... 9v battery and a pressure tank, I can't "flow match" the injectors, but I can check for clean spray pattern.
Thanks.

To my knowledge, Flennor is the only brand belt I have ever gotten from Zims. People may bash on every othe brand but Conti, but I have had zero issues with ANY belt from Zims. You are fine, don't let your mind play tricks on you because it isn't "Conti."
