Ouch, ive been considering adding the super bright led bulbs (the $25 ones) to get a bit more "pop" out of the rear brake lights. I already did the 3rd brake light and it lights up faster for sure and is quite bright. That said, it won't help if a driver is looking at their phone.

Glad your alright!

Mine are not tinted, just the lighting in my avatar pic. And yes we can't blame all rear end accidents on the tailights, more on the uncareful drivers, but the brighter lights can't make anything worse.

I didn't say much to him, he was sorry so no point in jumping down his throat. I think he was more dazed than me, for a while he couldn't get of his car.

Well, the wreck was picked up yesterday.
I've ended up with $6100 for it totaled after disputing the value there initial offer was $3200 ! - leasson always dispute the first offer.
However that meant they wanted $1500 for me to keep the wreck so I ddecided againts stripping and parting out.
So now the search for another P car.

Well I finally found a replacement for my lamented 944.
The new daily driver is a 2000 996 Carrrera 4 very different to the old NA.
It will have to wait until next year now but I will be on the look out for another 944NA to continue my Super Charger project. Since I already have a spare engine trans and so mush more. So i haven't walked away from the 944 completely.
Thanks for all your comments and help with 944.
