Question A/C compressor mounting HELP!

I seem to be missing some hardware for my a/c compressor. The brace is in place and tight but the compressor still wiggles a little. What holds the compressor in place. Anybody have the specifications and or schematic?

The brace is in place and tight but the compressor still wiggles a little.
There are two upper pivot bolts and people tend to forget to tighten them once they get the strut/belt tight. If left loose they sometimes break (one or both). The compressor is still captured by the belt so it doesn't fall out but getting those broken bolts out of that soft compressor housing is a pain. I scrapped a good compressor for this problem just a few weeks ago....Bruce

Two bolts? Great! I can easily see there was one and it is gone. What size bolts are they?

The exploded view I saw on the Pelican Parts website shows one bolt. Hmmm.

But then I see now that the diagrams is for earlier 944, bummber.

Kinda funny, two weeks ago or so I realized that I had no bolts on my compressor, except the little piece of a bolt where one broke off. Had to drill it out. Not fun.

The front bolt that holds the compressor is a M10 x 50mm with a 1.25 thread pitch.
The rear bolt is a M8 x 55mm with 1.25 thread pitch.

(Length is a give or take. I believe that's the stock length, but you will most likely get either a 50mm or a 60mm bolt). Go down to Lowe's or Home Depot and grab them for under $2. Don't forget washers and lock washers to prevent it from happening again! If you're interested, the auto store should have coated bolts and washers.

Well bad news. . .

Pulled the tensioner brace off and found the rear ear is broken off. No idea how long but I think it was a while ago by the looks of the surface. Front bolt is sheared but the shank was intact and I was able to remove it with vise grips. Previous owner was a mechanic and looks like he put anti-seize on the bolt.

I ordered the bolts from Copperstate Nut and Bolt and they will be ready for pick up tomorrow.

I am thinking I will put the it back together and drive to chop, have a/c evacuated. I will replace the compressor myself and have the shop recharge.

Sound like a plan?

I am looking at buying compressor and dryer from http://www.a-aironline.com. Anyone found the compressor and dryer cheaper and happy with parts?
