I am chasing down a clunk in the front end and I am beginning to think its my new Elephant Racing control arm front monoballs. Has anyone else experienced this or am I just unlucky; is that what they are supposed to do? If this is normal, it means they are binding/have inherent stiction and that means the extra money paid is worthless. Somebody tell me it's something else before I contact the seller?

I fitted lindsey camber plates, monoball caster blocks, and bilstein escort cup coilovers a short while ago. It's significantly clunkier than before. Especially when turning the steering wheel I get a thunk probably from the front springs rotating on the spring perches. I am also running helper springs to prevent them from unloading when it is jacked up. Even with the torrington bearing in the Lindsey camber plates the thunk occurs. The monoball bearing in the camber plate also seems to transfer a fair amount of noise.
Not sure what is normal noise wise. It's not unbearably loud though. Also running rear coilovers with Elephant polybronze spring plate bushings in the rear. It would be interesting to get other peoples experiences with suspension noise with monoballs..
