Default Wanted: Really really nice 944 or 968 for daily driver, need A/C

I've noticed that I would probably be just as happy driving a regular old 944 or 968 -- with that magic handing and what not. Doesn't even need to be a Turbo. A hardtop. I'd like the car to look newish in and out, though.

Great interior and exterior, well maintained and driven regularly, usual stuff taken care of -- I know, I want it all.

I suppose I'm kind of looking for a concours level or something, but not getting into the "I should just get a 911" price range.

I was thinking a good 968, with ac, hardtop. Or S2 again. I wonder if it's more difficult to find parts vs the 944. I'd consider a 928, too, but like the better gas mileage of the 968 and 944.

Your thoughts? I'm 6'3, tall from the waist up.

So does this mean you have short stubby legs and a long mid section?
Whats the price range your looking for? Just so sellers know the mark.

You'll have a hard time finding a good condition 968 coupe in/around NoVA for that price but you could get the nicest condition S2 in the country for $14k.

Don't be so sure about that. I recently looked at a couple of the "nicest" S2's in the country (no doubt about it, concours level, low miles) and they were priced more like $24-30K.

Even just "nice" S2's seem to be going for around his top level.

I gave up on my search for a nice S2 and bought a nice Turbo instead.
