Default Clunk in the front end.

Car was makig a noise when exiting the driveway and sounded like a wheel was falling off. It started after replacing sway bar bushings, tie rod ends, new boots on steering rack and bottom control arm ball joints. After putting it on the rack at Porsche it turns out it was a frozen left front strut. Purchased replacement struts, bump stops and after removing the units (with springs compressed) I took the struts to a local car repair shop and they used their pneumatic high speed air gun to remove the main strut nut and moved the upper strut mounts, springs and new bump stop over to the new struts. After a little cussing and a pint of blood I have it all back together and going to Porsche tomorrow to get the camber checked and re-adjusted if necessary.

Rear Hatch reseal is next (assuming nothing else surprises and interfers with my plans).

It's starting to feel like a "kit car". It's good therapy, though.

Started chasing a small niggling oil leak in the front. After tearing all the belts, covers and rollers out, it turned out to be the passenger side balance shaft front bearing housing O ring. It was time to check the belts for final tensioning anyway so I knew I was going to take some of it apart but the flourescent dye led me to the culprit.
