Yeah these cars can be a headache.. But when it all goes right. It's better then many other periodic cars or even cars built today!
A lot of people buy nissans or toyotas or mazdas thinking they've got a good handling car. But really, they haven't heard of a 944. I've driven a lot of jap cars and really... MEH. Unless they've spent a lot of cash on bits it's nothing great from stock.

Woah, long time since updates..
OK, A while back i decided early 924 polished window surrounds would be a cool touch. I began fitting them and decided it looked better in my mind..

I then set about all the things i didnt like about the car, so i re fitted power steering, purchased a matching lower half rear seat, ect ect..
And a period momo steering wheel (was fitted to an 86' 930)

I will come back to the small and OEM details..
But a big thing was "do i fit a 924 turbo nose?" it would feed the cooler air and goes with my Ruf theme quite well, but i just dont like the look compared with stock. I did a p/shop to convince myself...still unsure.

The time has come, the 944 scene has grown, lots are being modified and restored and values are climbing. I want to improve the condition of mine while the parts are available and cheapish.
The big things like paintwork and mechanical parts don't worry me - they will always be available. But I'm collecting the little things.
So I already posted the matching rear seat,
Here are a few more-
New clock, 968 red hazard switch, new genuine cig lighter, new ash tray, OEM mats.

Lights up too

And a new end for the key with a torch (the badge fell off my old one)

One of these-

The best condition complete tool kit I could find-
![](http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/1076/5l8a.jpg)
And I'm pretty sure I now have all the paperwork it would have come with new-
![](http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/998/kiex.jpg)
And I tracd the previous owners and history, turns out its quite interesting..

This could be the most boring update ever, but I added it to the thread as it was very expensive.
