Default Adjusting front bumper angle

I have an early (1984) 944 and the front bumper angle is off. I recently had the front spoiler resprayed and I believe they may have misaligned it putting it back on. See photo.

Is this easily adjustable?

it looks like one of the bumper shocks is compressed. the only way to fix is is to drill the shock and pull the bumper out or replace the bumper shock.

I don't suppose trying to jostle it loose would help?

you can pull it back out but it may not stay. your best bet is to replace the bumper shock. they can be picked up very cheap.

Mine looked just like yours - I found this thread while looking for the solution - learned about "bumper shocks" in this thread - went outside, gave the right side of the bumper a couple of jarring smacks, and it went right back into place. And now that it is in place, I can feel the shocks working. And, nice and straight.

You might just give it a good pop.
