Default Ready to go Postal...

...because of Rennbay ball joint boots! Got the new joints ready for the epoxy, but the #$@&^%*@ boots won't boot! I've searched here and read lots about ball joints and replacing boots blah blah blah. I read all that before I bought the kits.

How do you get the boots to go over the lip and not get tangled in the green springy-ring thing without shooting grease all over the place?

AAAAAArrrgggghhhh!

Put the boot on first, fill with grease then wind the green springy clip on after it is in place.

What a doofus... I read the reply, went to the basement, finished off the job including the glueing, in about 10 minutes. Makes me wonder how I dress myself in the morning...

Thank you - great product!

I wonder how many times I've solved problems like this by taking a deep breath, walking away and then coming back later and attacking it from exactly the opposite direction I had been repeatedly beating my head against. I'd like to be able to say that experience has shortened the interval before figuring this out...but I'd be lying, lol.

Congrats and Rennbay FTW!

Same here. Once I couldn't drill out a broken bolt. I walked away from it and came back the next day. Took me 2 mins to get it out.
