What are you talking about regarding the rear panel speaker not fitting into the sheet metal? If you mean the area under the quarter windows, I have a late car with the plate in the rear. If you mean part of the front panel, I don't see what you are talking about.
As it happens I have this spare set apart at the moment so if you need pics of the speakers, x-overs, brackets, trims, etc, I can post up. Here are the panels front, rear, back, front:

Sorry missed that question. Yes, if you have a late 87+ car the rear speakers will fit fine otherwise you have to cut sheetmetal. Also, those panels I posted are black tops and very dark blue bottoms, the arms are the same except mine had the leather tops (partial leather).
