Would like to check if the availability of 924 Carrera GT is easy? Am thinking to buy one and need to build the knowledge of the durability, maintenance, and availability of parts. Any information will be highly appreciated.

in all honesty i believe your best bet is find a 944 Turbo on the west coast (maybe one that's in need of some love and care), and about to be cut up by Lart and put it in a shipping container. then throw in *all the spare parts you'll ever need.
*spare motors, turbos, wastegates, dme's, driveshafts, trannies, cv joints, etc.

There were 406 CGTs made: 6 prototypes, 200 delivered to Germany (LHD), 75 delivered to UK (RHD), and the remaining 125 delivered to other Euro markets (LHD). I own #82, one of only four that I know of for certain in the US. I have a customer in Hong Kong who owns a CGT there, whom I recently helped source replacement (aftermarket / non-OEM pistons) for a fresh engine rebuild. Maybe you're looking at that car???
In terms of parts availability, it is really going to depend on which parts you need. There are some items that are going to be "rare as hen's teeth", like the interior fabric, the Kolbenschmidt forged pistons, some of the G31 gearsets and internals, the intercooler and some related bits, the DITC module (unique to the 937), replacement body panels, etc.
On the other hand, roughly 90% of the rest of the car is standard 924 Turbo (a.k.a. 931) stuff, and fairly readily available.
Can you be more specific about what you think you're going to need? Also, the condition of the car you're considering, and what your goals are? If you have a goal of concourse restoration, call Freisinger in Germany, and be ready to part with some serious cash. If you really only care about keeping the car reliable and in reasonably close-to-stock form, you should have very little trouble finding what you need.
Feel free to reach out to me via email (dan DOT beckett AT ideola DOT com) or PM if you want to take the discussion offline.
(Thanks for the plug, Ernie!!!)
