Just run a continuity test from the CV terminals to the KLR pins (find the pinout in the Turbo supplement of the FSM).

Dollars to doughnuts, it's the cycling valve.

I'm thinking I am just going with the cv delete idea. I have an autometer boost guage, and the mbc is only like 70 bucks...
