Default Totaled 1987 944 Turbo For Sale

1987 944 Turbo For Sale

I am the third owner of this vehicle. It only has 76k miles on it. In November some idiot was texting and driving and crashed into it while it was parked at my girlfriend's house. The drivers rear end was damaged. The rest of the car was not harmed. Does not drive, but does start up. I think a control arm is cracked but I am not sure. Before the time of the crash this car was in fantastic mechanical and cosmetic condition. A lot of time and money was put into keeping this car in pristine condition. At this point in my life I just want to move on. 944 Turbo's are a lot of fun but they are also a lot of work. Was thinking about parting her out, but think that I would rather sell her all together.

I have the receipts to prove thousands of dollars in repairs and maintenance.

New timing belt and water pump.
A Bunch of Seals were replaced
New rear breaks
New wind shield
4 New tires
Turbo Twist Rims
3inch headers back magna flow exhaust
Authority Stage 2 chip
Turbo boost enhancer

$4,000 Or best offer.

I was on rennlist mobile and it doesn't show the information under your screen name.

Too bad it's so far because I could just use most of the stuff on my parts car to fix it.

What sticker on the back? The back of what?

Yeah it was a heart breaking for me to hear a crash and come outside to find my baby who I cared so much about wrecked. I always thought that we would go out in a blaze of gunfire together.

Is $4000 too high of a asking price? I really have no idea what this car is worth in this condition. I know if I parted it out I could gather more than $4000 but I don't think I have the time or ability to do that.

I love 944's This is actually my second one. Originally I decided that I was going to keep it and fix it. But I don't think I have what it takes to keep this hobby up anymore. I also have a 2012 WRX and am enjoying the lack of maintenance and versatility of an AWD station wagon. Not very sexy, but probably better for me at this point in my life.

Pull the cargo carpet and the option sticker is right where the license plate goes on the inside.

As for the asking price, I feel it is a bit high unless it has nice options and or a perfect interior with sport seats.

There's a sticker under the carpet above the spare wheel. It's got a series of option codes on it.
Best bet is taking a photo of the sticker. It'll list the VIN and all the information about what came standard with the car, things like M030 suspension or non-standard wheels.
