WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BLOCK OF PINEWOOD TODAY ...?

Three Wheelin'
Molydisulfide for the axles. If you have access to a lathe, cut very small grooved in the axles to hold more Moly. Many "sanctioned" events only allow you to lube the car before entry.
Make sure only 3 wheels are touching the ground. One front, two rear. And test push the car to make sure the alignment makes the car go straight.
Take some aluminum tape and put along the sides where the wheels may contact the body down by the axle where it doesn't affect the looks. This gives you a slipperier surface for the wheel to contact than a painted body.
Weight should be as HIGH and far BACK as possible. This allows gravity to pull the weight the longest. You'll notice a surge at the end of a run that other cars won't get when gravity is done doing it's work.
YMMV but we won every year My son did the body, I did the "prep" work.
