I do alot, not as much as others on this forum! My background is actually in slightly earlier year cars 87-89. As in everything Porsche, once you know the origins, you can work on alot of newer stuff.

Well I commend you for doing your own work because it's not easy. I Try to do the easy stuff myself but haven't tried anything like a TB or a clutch.

Joe, if you need help with any of those things just let me know. I've done them both dozens of times.

That's a very generous offer sir and I may hold you to that. Question: how come the guys from Athens haven't caravaned to 944fest before? I have never been but it looks like the best kind of weekend.

Well, I do know that several of the guys in Atlanta have caravaned up there in previous years. There also have been a few guys from FL to have driven up. But I've never been to it personally. Every year either my car has major issues or my finances are too low (or both). Maybe I'll make it a goal for next year

Down in Orlando I did host a few big 944 events myself. Maybe we can get something like this going here, or at least in Atlanta where we could get a bigger turnout. We did not incorporate a track day, but we had a rally, a show, a swap meet, free food, etc etc. Here are pictures of the last one which we had in March of this year: https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...-pictures.html

I have made it my goal to make the trip next year with my current car. All you need is a helmet to get some track time in the drivers Ed groups.
Drift- where did you end up moving to?

East Athens down where Barnett Shoals Rd turns into Whitehall if you go straight. Just a couple minutes drive from the car wash.

Is anyone on here selling a radiator? http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/pts/3079685310.html If not, I'll call him and see if he has a 944 and would like to join us next Saturday.

Haha wow!!! Ashton, that is too crazy man. Give me a ring whenever you're in town!!! And I'm glad you are coming to the meet, I feel like I've known you for so long since I first bought those Ronal's off you on Ebay in like, 2004 or something haha! It would be great to finally meet in you person.

I saved a couple addresses in town where I spotted those 944's back when I was looking for a home. Anyone want to cruise with me sometime during the week to stop by and say hello, and invite them to the meet?
