Drifta944 - yeah the gray one did not sound like a stock 944. Not going to
Lie I thought it sounded pretty nice.
When it comes to meeting places there a bunch around town. Church parking lots are great because they are all decently well lit. I have been wanting to meet some of the other guys from athens so thanks for taking initiative.

You couldn't have picked a better time! I'd be good to hang out any day that is a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (because I have summer classes at college.) However, on Sunday my dad and I are leaving for a 1300 mile rally starting in Indiana and ending on the beach in Florida. We won't be back until Friday afternoon-ish. I appreciate you inviting me, but I realize that I do live about 2hrs away, and would feel really bad if you all planned something around my schedule. That said, the 2hr drive is NOTHING for me, and I'd be more than happy to make the drive when everyone is available...especially since my car came out of the paint booth two days ago!

I'd also like to suggest maybe a lot of us showing up to Caffeine and Octane in Alpharetta? About 1.5 hours from Athens, and its supposedly a huge cars and coffee with all makes and models. It would be a good chance for all of us to make a showing for the 944 and just hang.

But like I said, I'm fine with whenever, and very anxious to show off my car! Here she is after I put her back together. Fresh paint!

I am good with sonic off Lexington. Robstah - you have the grey 944 on east side Athens. You were at firehouse like a week ago right? Just trying to figure out who everyone is.

Looks good Hopps! I have been wanting to get out to Caffeine & Octane for a while--its just so far over there on a Sunday morning! Sonic sounds good to me.

I live in winterville 1/8 mile past the bank. What kind of 944 you have. I have seen 4-5 around Athens.

The Sonics on Lexington sounds like a good location, let's do that. Is next Saturday ok for everybody? That would be June - 23rd. If anyone has a conflict we can easily change the date, there is not that many of us so no worries. As for the meeting time, I'd prefer to have hopps chime in since you live the farthest (that is if you can make it)... Wouldn't want to schedule it too late or too early since you've got a long drive!

Joe - I might stop by Eco Wash this weekend or next before the meet to take advantage of your offer. Thanks!

Any time from 9am-9pm works for me. That gives me about 6:30am to leave, or 11:30pm to get home! Next week is gonna be full of 8-12 hour driving days, so this little drive won't mean a thing! However, we have to see if the car makes the whole trip

BTW which cars do you have up with you?

PS - I think I'll try to convince Julie to bring the other car so I can have both there, and so you guys can meet her. After all, she is the reason I now live in Athens!

Cool. So June - 23rd, and for now let's make it around 7pm. (subject to change if anyone can't make it at this date/time).

So far I have 2 cars here. I bought both of them recently only for the sake of them being good deals. But one is an 86 951, black with tan interior, everything stock and probably around 300k miles LOL. The other is also an 86 951, burgundy with burgundy interior, sport seats, lsd trans, bilstein shocks, and also otherwise pretty much stock. The black one I plan on selling, and the burgundy one I plan on eventually parting out. But you should be seeing both of them at our meet. I am also picking up an 83 parts car tonight in Atlanta. Not really sure what's good on it yet but I'll soon find out!
