A trick for the bleed screws it to loosen them first with a socket. 7mm I think? Then use a wrench afterwards when you have your bleed hose attached.. The socket seems to have less of a chance of rounding them off. It's worked for me.

It would have been an 11mm socket, but they're too rounded now.
To be honest I'm not sure whether the second hard line is copper or the copper-nickel alloy - I'll check. But the Porsche line was £65 delivered, and the made-to-length line was £12... I figured for that difference, I could at least get some practice in at fitting the things, and if I have to replace it sooner than the genuine bit, I can live with that!
Re. getting lines over the axle etc - it wasn't too bad. Actually one of the easier parts of the whole process.
