I have some 18" hollow spoke 993 turbo twists that should be a good "bolt-up fit". However, I used them for track wheels - so they're not cosmetically perfect and won't come with any tires on them (unless you want used track rubber...)

Are you talking about the Club Sport,if yes it's a very rare wheel indeed.Not to be mistaken for the D90.Pics # 1 & 2 Club Sport on a Silver Rose #3 D90 on a S2.

gotta ask though, are those aftermarket Italian twists lighter than the oem ones? I do know that the early fuchs are the lightest for our cars.

and curious about the spacing thing too (on the rim). I really dig how some of the cars I see really have the fender filled out. Is that just wider tires or spacers? (both?).

No, they are much heavier... But on an N/A car, you won't even notice a difference, unless you constantly track the car for competitive times.

While I agree that heavier wheels aren't that noticeable on the street, I think you feel the effect *more* on an NA car, because you don't have the power to compensate.

For those interested, I also have a few sets of the 16" turbo S club sports for sale... I believe I have six rears (9") and two fronts (7") left.
