Yeah, I'm not much for the rice crowd...but those Miatas are under rated like our 944's.

No worries though, it keeps the costs down for the rest of us

this is a constant source of angst for my wife and me. She feels that getting enough likeminded people around her to agree with the incorrect pronunciation is proving her point. much to my chagrin, there aren't too many people that have even seen a Porsche, much less thought about them here in south GA... not important in the long run though. i say Porsha automatically, any other way sounds wierd to me... i won't correct anyone but i won't say it incorrectly just for them either.

Porsha. I don't correct people, unless the ask me which way is right. I think correcting people is being a douche.

On a side note, I had a Mexican friend ask me which was right, and I told her and then went into the whole spill about names and such. She nodded, thought for a second, and then asked:

"So why do Americans say Mesico and not Mehica?"

*dumb stare*...."Beats me."

We call it the eye-full tower but his las name is pronounced E-full. By the time I've gotten here persons have stopped listening anyway...
Alexandre Gustave Eiffel */ˈaɪfəl/ French pronunciation:*[efɛl]), né Bönickhausen dit Eiffel[1] (December 15, 1832*– December 27, 1923) was a French structural engineer from the École Centrale Paris, an architect, an entrepreneur and a specialist of metallic structures. He is acclaimed for designing the world-famous Eiffel Tower, built 1887–1889 for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris, France.

anyone with some knowledge or a german language class under their belt will know that the trailing "e" in german names/words is always pronounced, very basic. im just surprised if someone approaches me and pronounces porsche correctly, though i dont correct them unless they ask. Ich sorge nicht so oder so, ich einfach fahre gern mein auto
