and if i were ever to go racing *(something that doesn't interest me in the slightest) i'd also be able to

switch my driver's seat for one of these in a few minutes because my sliders have been converted over.

Have they had any sort of crash testing done with them, or some sort of safety rating? I didn't see anything listed.

I don't know, I should of asked them. I sent them an email asking for actual weight of each + more pictures.

I'll ask them if they come back to me.

All those ebay seats are garbage. Save your money!
If you want to go cheap, check out the Corbeau's. There is a model of them (i forget the model name) that is nice looking, light, fits the 944, and costs about $700/pair, shipped.

I will eventually get the Recaro Speed SRD, they're another nice option that costs a little more.

For sure I want better quality, but one thing I actually NEED, is RECLINABLE racing seats.

Something good enough for DE, and something I can recline to attach my future 6 months baby in is seat in the back, also as my 4 year old daughter.

Yep : )

Does anybody knows some good reclinable racing seats : )

At first, I was thinking maybe just getting one to replace the driver seat and keeping the passenger OEM reclinable one to be able sit and attach both of my kids.

When they are installed in an Elise I fit just fine at 6'1" 230lbs.

Most aftermarket seats look really builky in a 944. I have Recaro Pole Positions in one of the 928's. IMO they look perfect but no recline.

Both the seats i listed are fully-functioning seats (recline + fold over to provide access to the rear seat)

i wouldnt suggest it for a daily driver but a quick detach steering wheel will make a fixed seat perfectly serviceable.

despite the lack of padding my car is quite comfortable for 4+ hours. a weeek or so ago my wife admitted to missing the car (it is in winter storage)

No complaints, but I didn't spend a lot of time in them. I would never upgrade seats without doing a fitment first.
Having a fixed back seat without 5/6-point provision is a bit pointless to me though. I would look Exige seats instead.

IMO Factory sports seats (100% non-power versions) are the perfect seats for a 944 or 928.
