That is not necessarily the case 944C. I have seen more than one S with the 16ventileter badge on it.

My car doesn't have any molding on the doors or fenders. Guessing someone just rebadged it. At least they didn't do a bad job. Now I get to try and put it back the way it should be without screwing it up.
