If it is an injector, it is possible that you could leak enough fuel to hydrolock the cylinder, bending a rod or worse.

I will know tomorrow if the dme resolder of the injector controller area did the trick. I tried the dip stick drip test as described previously and Tue results seemed reasonable. I still have not seen how much fuel pressure one should have after an hour or two.

*edit*

Rats. Still problematic. =( lumpy/car shake still. Now the question is, is it temperature driven, or just after sitting 'overnight'. Oy.

Ben

I meant to check the spark plugs after running for a short time to check for excessive fuel in that cylinder to narrow down if it is an injector leak down.

I am going to have Provost Motorsports give it a look over.

Sure,

It was dropping within spec, no leaks. Clarks garage has the spec. The Fuel Pressure gauge (ProSport) works great.

Running rich because I have a cam, and vacuum is 'different' than spec because of that, and the 3.0FPR is over-kill, even with the A-Tune, so back to 2.5 and it's much better. Could probably use an adjustable.
