A few 951 tech questions.
Hello, i have tried to search for the answers but i have found nothing direct.
1) On a 1986 951 (UK car, so no cat and 99 octaine fuel) what power at the fly can be expected with no mods aside from-
a cone filter
single box 3" exhaust system
Shimmed wastegate
Manual boost control
LR chips
I have been told up to 300 at the fly, but the authority website states more like 260????
2)The AFM on my car works fine, but the part number is for a 944S.
Is the metering of this unit different to the 951?, or is the different part number related to the bracketing?
3) How much power can a stock 951 clutch handle?
4) what is the maximum boost you can safely run on LR chips before it runs lean.

A standard 951 is something like 220... new. You really think a shimmed wastegate and Lindsey chip is going to give you 50-60+ extra HP?
I don't know the condition of the car or mileage... but I'd guess that those mods would bring it back up to "original" performance.

well we actually don't know how much boost he's running. if it was 15, where i assume everyone boosts their k26/6 to with a chip set.

That's what I was thinking as well. Intake/exhaust with waste gate shim and chip is not going to bring a stock engine up 80hp.
