Default 944 steering column support ring

Does anyone know if the plastic bushing on the steering column shaft that breaks over time (and causes movement in the column ) is the same as the VW part ? The numbers are the same, 171419341 and the diagrams appears to be teh same as well. It is much easier to get parts at my local VW dealer if so.

Yes , PP has it too, but that does not help me have it in my hand for installation this weekend. I need it soon for a track event. Thanks though.
