Default S2 motor in 8v NA

Installing an S2 motor into my 85.5 8v car.
I need a little help with the reference sensors. The 8v has two in the clutch bellhousing, but I beleive the S2 only uses one and then uses the timing mark up on the cam/distributor.
Can someone clarify the bellhuosing sensors required for the S2?

TIA

It's easier than you think. As far as I can tell, it's easier to go from 8v to 16v than the other way around.

This might help, http://members.rennlist.com/tholyoak...wap_wiring.htm

8V models use older Motronic system. S2 is "modern" 60-2 triggering system. Only one Hall-sensor located on flywheel. Just get S2 clutch/flywheel, then it would be an easy swap. Going from 16V to 8V is not more complicated, you just need to have 8V version flywheel
